Amma Vodi Scheme 2021 

Amma Vodi scheme is one of the beneficiary schemes launched by the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. The scheme aims to fund the education of children who live below the poverty line category. The government has decided to provide 15000 Rupees to every single mother who belongs to the BPL category for their children’s education. The government of Andhra is currently aiming at 43 lakh mothers who live in poverty-stricken conditions. The government is also currently focussing on the betterment of the state’s literacy rate.

Amma Vodi Scheme Eligibility 

  • All mother’s living below the poverty line are eligible to avail of the benefits of the scheme.
  • Applicants must be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Students applying for the scheme must have 75% of attendance in school and should also have a white ration card.
  • The students who are applying for the scheme should have a PAN Card.
  • The students from both government and private colleges are eligible to apply for the scheme.

Benefits of Amma Vodi Scheme 

  • Financial assistance of 15000 Rupees will be provided to the beneficiary’s mother for school education every year.
  • The scheme is going to benefit students of 1st to 12th standard. 
  • The scheme is going to target the literacy ratio of the state.
  • The scheme is going to encourage students to go to school and discourage child labor.

Amma Vodi Phase 2 Beneficiary List 

The 2nd phase list for the scheme was released by the education minister of the state Dr. Audimulapu Suresh. The final list was released on 30th December 2020 on the official website. Roughly 83,72,254 students from around 61,317 schools and about 3,116 colleges will be benefited from this scheme.
