The Jagananna Thodu scheme ( like other beneficiary schemes ) has been started by the YSR government for state residents during the pandemic situation. This scheme provides Rs. 10000/- of business loan for street vendors for their livelihood and is completely interest-free. 10 lakh street vendors have applied for this loan to date. laundry services, cobblers, pan shops barbershops are also counted in this scheme.

The state government has also started a new portal so that no corruption can take place. QR-based small identity cards and the scheme will be observed by  MEPMA, SERP officials. Nearly 9,05003 lakh payees in the survey have been identified by the volunteers of the village/ward secretariat.  For social audit, the list of payees is displayed at secretariats. Benefits Of Jagananna Thodu Scheme 2021

An amount of rupees 10000 will be provided to the street vendors for their business which they are running on streets of Andhra Pradesh state and via these loans hence all of these street vendors who apply for this scheme will be able to get a chance to expand their business. This loan amount given by the Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh state will be provided through banks only where the rate of interest to all of the street vendors will be free (as the interest will be covered by the government itself). The payee will have to repay the loan in installments. The government has identified a 9.08 lakh payee under the scheme so far and the project will cost around 474 crores rupees.

Eligibility  Criteria of AP Jagananna Thodu Scheme 

  1. The candidate must be a permanent occupant of Andhra Pradesh state
  2.  The minimum age allowed is 18 years if the candidate wants to get the benefit from this scheme.
  3. The annual income of the applicant should be 12000 in town areas and 10000 in rural or village areas.
  4. People who sell fruit at walkaways on their carts, groceries, various items on bicycles can also register  for this scheme
  5. This loan is also provided to laundry services, cobblers, Barbershops, and pan shops.
  6. People having temporary or permanent department stores in towns or villages in a space of  5 feet wide,5 feet long or less are capable of the scheme
  7. People doing businesses as Tiffin centers along the road are also capable of this scheme
  8. baskets sellers or Stalls are also included in this scheme.

Online Application for YSR Jagananna Thodu Scheme

Candidates that are interested and are eligible for this scheme can apply by following the below-mentioned procedures:

  1. Go through the official website pmsvanidhi.mohua.gov.in
  2. Select the necessary vendors to take the “Apply for loan” option on the homepage screen.
  3. Enter the OTP that you have received in your registered mobile number
  4. An application form will appear as you enter the OTP 
  5. Complete the application form with the right details 
  6. Upload the required documents and then submit.

  • Go through the official website pmsvanidhi.mohua.gov.in
  • Go to the scheme instruction option from the home page of the official website 
  • Select the “vendor survey list” option
  • Enter father/spouse name, mobile number, certificate of vending number ULB name, name of a street vendor state on the new page.
  • Select the search button to check your status of this particular scheme.
